What is a GiftRak "100% Gift" Card?
A GiftRak "100% Gift" Card works like any other gift card, the recipient of a GiftRak Gift Card can redeem its
value for the Canadian eGift Card(s) of their choice by using the GiftRak "Redeem a Gift Card" page.

What is a GiftRak "100% Charity" Gift Card?
A GiftRak "100% Charity" Gift Card works like any other gift card, except that instead of buying more stuff, the recipient of a Charity Gift Card
donates its value to the Canadian Charity of their choice by using the GiftRak "Redeem a Gift Card" page.
If I purchase a GiftRak Charity Gift Card, can I get a tax receipt for the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA)?
If you send someone a GiftRak Charity Gift Card that is valued at $20 CDN or more then a tax receipt can be issued. To issue a tax receipt,
you will need to provide GiftRak with your detailed contact information as required by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA).
How much of a GiftRak Charity Gift Card does the charity receive?
100% of the value of GiftRak Charity Gift Cards will go to the charity.
Purchasing GiftRak Gift Cards
What currency are your gift cards in?
Our gift cards are in Canadian dollars.
What denominations can I purchase?
The minimum denomination for any GiftRak Gift Card purchased is $10 and the maximum is $500. The value of gift cards purchased must be whole dollar amounts, no cents.
Does GiftRak send physical cards?
At this time, only eGift Cards are available through GiftRak.
Can I get a refund?
No, all orders are non-refundable. GiftRak does not accept any returns or exchanges.
If I buy a GiftRak Gift Card, do you send it to me (the purchaser) or to the recipient?
GiftRak sends the gift card(s) you purchase directly to the recipient(s).
When are GiftRak Gift Cards sent to recipients?
As part of the ordering process, you schedule when you would like the GiftRak Gift Cards to be sent to the recipient. GiftRak Gift Cards are not delivered instantly and can take up to 48 hours from the time of purchase to review and process your order.
Why does it take up to 48 hours to process orders?
To help protect against unauthorized credit card use, GiftRak verifies all received orders. To eliminate the possibility
of delay in processing your order, please provide the information requested including a primary phone number with area
code for contact purposes. Failure to include information may result in your order being delayed or cancelled.
I placed my order with GiftRak and I provided the wrong email address for the recipient that I want the GiftRak card sent to.
Can I change and correct my order?
Contact support@giftrak.com to find out if a correction is possible. If the order has already been processed then changes
will not be possible. Please ensure that the email address of the recipient provided is correct before placing an order
as GiftRak is not responsible for gift cards sent to the wrong address.
Does GiftRak store my credit card information?
No, GiftRak uses Stripe.com to process its credit card transactions. GiftRak does not have any of your credit card information.
How many GiftRak Gift Cards can I buy in a single transaction?
You can purchase up to 5 GiftRak Gift Cards in a single transaction. If you would like to place a bulk order, please contact GiftRak.
Can GiftRak process bulk corporate orders?
Absolutely, please contact GiftRak to discuss. Please note, additional fees may apply.
Can GiftRak customize Gift Cards with our company name and/or logo on it?

How can I protect myself against gift card scams?
Unfortunately, gift cards are a popular way to scam money from people. You should not use GiftRak to purchase gift cards
for someone if they have demanded payment from you by gift card. If someone is asking you to pay them with gift cards, then
it is being done by an impostor and part of a scam. Businesses and government agencies would not ask customers to pay for
any service or product with a gift card. To report a fraud, contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud

Redeeming GiftRak Gift Cards
Can recipients redeem my GiftRak Gift Card for more than one Canadian eGift Card?
Yes, recipients can redeem the value of their GiftRak Gift Card(s) for one or more Canadian eGift Cards. The total value of the redeemed eGift Card(s) must not exceed the total value of the GiftRak gift card.
I received a GiftRak "100% Charity" Gift Card, can I exchange it for a "100% Gift" card and buy an eGift card for a Canadian brand instead?
No, the value of GiftRak's 100% Charity Gift Cards must be donated to a Canadian Charity of your choice.
Will Canadian Brands accept the GiftRak Gift Card I received directly?
No, you must exchange or redeem the value of your GiftRak Gift Card for Canadian eGift Cards through GiftRak.com
Can I redeem the GiftRak Gift Card I received for cash?
No, GiftRak gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
Do GiftRak Gift Cards expire?
Our gift cards do not expire and may be used at any time.
Do recipients have to spend the entire value of the GiftRak Gift Cards at once?
No, recipients can spend a portion of the value of their GiftRak Gift Card if they would like. The unused portion of your GiftRak
gift card will remain on your balance and can be used toward a future GiftRak order.
Are all Canadian eGift Cards available in flexible denominations?
No, some Canadian Brands only have set denominations available.
Where can the Canadian eGift Cards be used?
Every Canadian brand has different rules. Some brands only allow their eGift cards to be used in–store at their retail or
restaurant locations, while others can also be redeemed online on the brand’s website. There are some eGifts that can only
be redeemed online, via the brand’s website or app. Since every brand of eGift Card can be used differently, please refer
to the website of the brand for details on where you will be able to use their eGift card before redeeming your GiftRak Gift Card
for a specific brand.
Can a recipient redeem their GiftRak gift card for a physical gift card from a Canadian brand/merchant?
At this time, GiftRak only offers Canadian eGift Cards.
I redeemed my GiftRak gift card and have received the Canadian eGift card I ordered but I have changed my mind on
the eGift Card that I ordered, can I get a refund or exchange?

has gone out of business? Can I get a refund or exchange through GiftRak?
Unfortunately, GiftRak is unable to provide a refund or exchange in this situation.
Can a recipient nominate new Canadian eGift Card Brands to be offered on GiftRak?
Absolutely! Please contact GiftRak with the name or the Canadian eGift Card Brand, their website and why you think that it should be added to GiftRak.
Can a recipient nominate new Canadian Charities to be added to GiftRak?
Absolutely! Please contact GiftRak with the name or the Canadian Charity, their website and why you think that it should be added to GiftRak.
Can a recipient combine the value of more than one GiftRak Gift Cards or more than one GiftRak Charity Gift Cards?
Yes, the values of multiple GiftRak Gift Cards can be combined and the values of multiple GiftRak Charity Gift Cards can be combined.
Please note that the value of a GiftRak Gift Card card cannot be combined with a GiftRak Charity Gift Card.
